INVESTING IN CONNECTING
Investing in connecting a team is undoubtedly more important than ever! In our current world having seen entire teams forced to work from home and increasingly more and more people discovering the ability to work remotely, investing time in connecting your team is all about investing in your colleague’s wellness, positivity, happiness, sense of belonging and sense of comradery. The benefits are tangible – it boosts morale, retention, happiness and the bottom line – increases productivity.
Virtual Team Events and Remote Team Building Activities are tailorable to suit any group size. We work with small business teams, as low as six sometimes through to the largest global companies and create games to suit everything in between. The size of your group will dictate exactly how we run the game whether it be an individual game or performed in teams.
WORK AND MEETING APPLICATIONS
Most workplaces since the COVID-19 outbreak have invested in Meeting Apps to be able to continue team meetings with the most popular apps being Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack and Google Hangouts. Our preferred Application is Zoom but chat to us about what your team uses and we’ll try and utilise it if possible however some of our events specifically use technical capabilities inside Zoom that are not always transferrable.
Typically, the majority of our team building activities and corporate team events last around 3 hours. It’s the perfect amount of time to get the most out of our games without being too long! Taking our events online we’ve found the need to shrink this down to closer to the 1-1.5hour mark. Similarly, to us tailoring the game to your group size, we also have flexibility when it comes to the duration depending on what you think is best for your team! Our focus, as always, is ensuring the events are above all fun and so we’ll bring the fun for as long as team can keep up!
Our very humble beginnings were about getting teams out of the office to engage face-to-face. We’ve run literally thousands of these events but inevitably as we looked to innovate, the next evolution of events to offer were in the pipeline to take online. The Coronavirus has expediated this reality as face-to-face events over the shutdown period literally became illegal!
