How Survivor Schools works
Our School Survivor program is facilitated by professional actors with a background in youth arts and entertainment to ensure an engaging experience for students that doesn’t feel like learning at all!
The group is split into smaller “tribes” for the duration of the activity as they battle it out for ultimate supremacy. Each tribe will be faced with a collection of challenges that have been designed to encourage critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, resilience, and communication.
Teams will have to identify the individual strengths within their tribe and work together to accrue the most points throughout the game! From constructing contraptions, operating giant slingshots, solving cryptic puzzles, to creative challenges, this is a hands-on activity with something for everyone.
For groups with 8 or more teams the game will be played in a round-robin format with teams making their way around to each different challenge. We can organise this in such a way so that even-numbered teams proceed to the next challenge in one direction, and odd-numbered teams move in the opposite direction. This means that teams will have different opponents each round, allowing students to form new connections with their peers along the way.
After an awesome day of unique and interactive challenges we announce the team with the most points, award them with their medals and the best prize of all: bragging rights!
Survivor is a great school camp activity, end of year break up, or orientation week event that students will be raving about for years.

Why brands, teams, friends, and family can’t get enough of Great Race!
Just wanted to personally thank you for the session you and your team provided at the U@UNSW conference. It really met all our boxes and aligned with my debrief. Its especially refreshing to partner with an organisation who just get it without the need for micro-management. So… THANK YOU. I look forward to working with you guys again in the future.

Please extend my thanks to Josh and Brett and the crew that ran our excursion last week. It was a great day and everyone who participated, students and teachers continue to rave it was great fun! Accessible, comprehensive, well times and professionally ran. Words can not really do justice to how great it was. Given our rapture with the program we will be making this an annual event.

I would love to convey how fantastic the day was, Brett and staff provided perfect activities/challenges and a level of energy which started the day with a bang. We took with us to Southbank 150 students with very cynical attitudes and what the experience helped generate is a mountain of new friendships, faith and trust in each other and a spirit of confidence and social cohesion I have been trying to achieve all year.
