How Impro Gladiators works
Played indoors, this game is the perfect way to humanise your group and shake up a conference or team day with pure entertainment!
Impro Gladiators is side-splitting fun! Our professional Actors and Directors use humour to quickly create an open environment where ideas are embraced, and creativity is free to reign. Have some core values or certain learning objectives? This game is easily adaptable and we are able to focus on them in a really fun and unique way.
The event starts with some fun warm up games that get the mind working and get everyone laughing; they are as fun for participants and audience members alike!
We talk through the importance of being open to offers and following your impulses, and the negative outcome of someone blocking your idea on stage and going with their own agenda. The skits just won’t work if everyone is doing their own thing! It’s all about listening, communicating, and working together as a cohesive unit in a really fun and lighthearted way where no one can fail! This helps highlight the importance of an open office where ideas and collaboration are embraced.
Professional actors work with the group and help keep the energy up as we work our way through the best impro games, including: Space Jump, What Prop is This?, Song in a Minute, and Fairy Tale Genre Rollercoaster, Partner Puppets, Slow Motion Commentary, Charades, and Time Traveller.
Some games will require the entire group to work together, and others will focus on working in smaller groups. By the end of the activity you will have had the chance to work with colleagues in a completely unique and memorable way!
Whilst we award medals for standout & breakthrough performances, this game is really more about the shared experience… and all the priceless moments of pure entertainment along the way!
