How Survivor works

The game is hosted by one of our awesome professional actors who bring all the humour, heart, and Survivor-host vibes you need for an unforgettable experience. They explain how the game works and then hold an official Tribe Naming Ceremony.

Each tribe will then receive an Immunity Idol necklace which they can use once on a challenge of their choice to double their points. Each challenge begins with an introduction and teams are given the opportunity to use their idol.

Whether teams are communicating the correct combination of symbols to one of their teammates who can’t see the image, competing in eating and construction challenges, or building a contraption to retrieve a puzzle that is out of reach, all challenges will require the tribe to work together and identify their individual strengths.

Some challenges will require everyone in the team to participate, otherwise will require them to put their best player forward encouraging strategic thinking and cohesive team work to earn the most points.

After a rollercoaster of challenges and game play, the victorious tribe with the most points is finally revealed and awarded with their medals which we guarantee they’ll still be wearing on Monday…

Why brands, teams, friends, and family can’t get enough of Great Race!

Just wanted to personally thank you for the session you and your team provided at the U@UNSW conference. It really met all our boxes and aligned with my debrief. Its especially refreshing to partner with an organisation who just get it without the need for micro-management. So… THANK YOU. I look forward to working with you guys again in the future.

Please extend my thanks to Josh and Brett and the crew that ran our excursion last week. It was a great day and everyone who participated, students and teachers continue to rave it was great fun! Accessible, comprehensive, well times and professionally ran. Words can not really do justice to how great it was. Given our rapture with the program we will be making this an annual event.

I would love to convey how fantastic the day was, Brett and staff provided perfect activities/challenges and a level of energy which started the day with a bang. We took with us to Southbank 150 students with very cynical attitudes and what the experience helped generate is a mountain of new friendships, faith and trust in each other and a spirit of confidence and social cohesion I have been trying to achieve all year.

I organised the amazing race for a Hens party and what a blast it was! The challenges were fun, cheeky and exciting and bought out the competitive side in all of us. The memories we made that afternoon will never be forgotten. Our host on the day Antony was awesome. From the time of enquiry to the day of the event, Vanessa, was friendly, patient and very professional and made sure it all ran smoothly. Thank you! I would highly recommend this company if you’re looking for a fun activity for any event!

The Great Race hosted a double hen’s party for my friends (in Sydney). It was beyond amazing. Organising the race was so easy and they really listened to all of my requests – making the event Bride vs Bride with larger groups, taking into the girls’ competitive nature and emphasising the little ways to cheat. The day itself was fantastic. It was lightly raining but ponchos were provided. Everyone was set up for a day of fun by our host, Skylar. He did a fantastic job of making everyone welcome and setting the mood. My team lost by only a few points and I can really say that this didn’t dampen the mood at all. What an adventure 🙂 🙂 Thank you so so much for everything. The brides and all the hens guests had so much fun!

We did a Great Race as part of a hen’s night and it was a terrific day. Completely exceeded my expectations!! Very well organised and a lot of planning had been done to make it a fun interactive day. We all had such a great time. I definitely recommend. Our host Gabe was hilarious, full of energy and make sure we had smiles on our faces all day. Thanks Gabe and the Great Race team! Top day!!
