Monopoly Amazing Race

The Monopoly Amazing Race is an outdoor adventure game themed around everyone’s favourite past time: accruing properties, landing on Free Parking, and trying to cheat without your siblings finding out! If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like if the property squares on Monopoly were real places you could visit, then we’ve made your childhood dream come true.

The rules and gameplay are explained by one of our entertaining professional actor hosts at the start of the event. Each team will receive a giant game board which looks just like the real one, with our own unique game elements to amp up the fun. The property squares become Amazing Race style challenges that will see your team solve riddles, interact with the public, follow clues, and take creative videos. Each property group has a compulsory challenge and feature fun, hands-on team games such as giant slingshot, construction tasks, and eating competitions. You’ll be graded on performance at each of these compulsory challenges with your team earning either properties or hotels depending on your score.

Our Utilities challenge will give teams a choice between two challenges, each with their own pros and cons. A compulsory Chance Card adds the elements of lady luck, and our sabotage mission lets you cheat without having to hide money under your game board. At some point during the game your team must Go To Jail which just so happens to be a bar (optional) where your team can rehydrate, regroup and refocus their game plan.

The final task is to make your way to the end location where your property portfolio will be calculated and your Monopoly money tallied. Once all teams have arrived we reveal the top performing teams in certain challenges which further adds to the suspense of where each team is placed. Finally we reveal the winning team, award them with their medals and the prize everyone’s always vying for in Monopoly: bragging rights!
