Film Fest kicks off with our awesome professional actor hosts introducing the overall concept and creative brief. We explain that each member of the team will be required to participate to ensure the project is a collaborative effort of the entire group. From directing, script writing, costume & prop sourcing, choreographing, planning & producing, to starring in the film itself, everyone will have a chance to shine.
The cinematographer from each team will then be briefed on how to operate their cameras and equipment, while the props & design manager will select prop and costume items from our huge selection to use in your film. The rest of the team begins brainstorming, storyboarding, script writing and location sourcing. The film can be of any genre or style including documentary, music video, short story, infomercial or news report and can incorporate your company values, conference theme or team goal. Our actors work with each team to help with ideas, tips, and assist with the entire process.
Teams then hit the streets and explore the surrounding areas to shoot their 3 minute film. It’s a big task and teams will have to work as a decisive creative unit to finish their film on time. Teams must shoot each scene in sequence so careful planning and strategy is paramount. The challenge is not to create the next Spielberg masterpiece, but rather to throw themselves wholeheartedly into the task at hand.
Upon completion we quickly upload the films and get them ready for the big screen. Then the quality entertainment begins! From CEO cameo’s to celebrity impersonations, there’s so many hilarious moments and everyone is always so surprised and proud of what they were able to create. We then award Oscar trophies in 6 categories in our Awards ceremony, finishing the event on an awesome high!
