City Challenge

logo Our "City Challenge" is an exciting interactive romp through the Sydney CBD. Described by one client as “A treasure hunt on steroids”, our City Challenge is a sightseeing tour packed with fun!

In teams, you will be pitted against each other along a pre-determined path that takes in the historical and geographical beauty of Sydney. Sabotage, skill, planning and luck all come into play as teams search for clues and accumulate time deductions in order to finish our course in the quickest time possible.

Whether you are an individual, a group of friends or a family, Great Race City Challenge is an awesome way to see the sights of this beautiful city at a very affordable price.

This exciting new Sydney day tour explores why Sydney is constantly voted as one of the most picturesque and livable cities in the world all whilst divulging the cities rich history. There is a strong photographic component. The Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Tower, The Rocks, Darling Harbour and Circular Quay - you’ll see all the major sights and experience some of the cities hidden gems and have an absolute ball doing it!

So bring your camera, your walking shoes and your sense of fun and get set for the most enjoyable day in Sydney ever!

We meet at the base of the gazebo in Belmore Park, opposite Central station, on the other side of Eddy Avenue (race usually begins at 1pm). We then put you into teams of three-five. The race consists of three legs. The first leg takes you through Chinatown and Darling Harbour. The second leg includes a bus trip (cost absorbed by Great Race) that gets you to Circular Quay. The final leg is a dash for home through The Rocks. We will finish up at a pub in The Rocks for post race 2-for-1 drinks. Here we will tally the scores and host a brief prize ceremony.

A geographical knowledge of the city is not important as we have a very clear path mapped out. Lady luck will play her part and teams will not know where they stand until all times are tallied up. Basic prizes are included.
